During the 3 months you will be studying acting together with the director and your colleagues from the school, you will have the opportunity to create a modern short play of any kind – performative, plastic, poetic, documentary or dramatic. You will experience the benefits of collective interaction. You will understand how to present an idea on stage, gain knowledge about the supertasks of the character and the play, about the compositional component of the role and the dramaturgy. When you appear on the stage, you will gain the most important practical experience, useful unique skills and a charge of inspiration to develop and “create”!
8 main topics of the classes:
- The concepts of “image” and “character” in an actor’s work on a role: what are the differences;
- Composition of the performance. How to distribute the role in perspective;
- External characterization. How to visually create a character – details, gait, facial expressions, appearance;
- Internal characterization. Turning into another person;
- Emotionality. We work through the entire scale of emotions;
- Multifaceted attention. We don’t lose sight of anyone – neither the partner, nor the audience, nor the light, nor the music, nor the mise-en-scene;
- Stage language. We work with monologues and dialogues;
- Partnership. We work in a team, share responsibilities, and enjoy collective creativity.
